LLAMA WOOL is very unique in character. Unlike sheep's wool, llama wool is hollow in the center. It is hypoallergenic -thus allowing heat retention while moisture escapes. The warmth of llama wool is essential during our cold months in Michigan.
This picture of our girl Paradise was taken the summer of 2007. She is a heavy wool girl and produces approximately 4 lbs of fiber.

Our Bolivian boys and Chilian girls produce approximately 20 pounds of wool yearly. After shearing, we wash, card and handspin all the wool into lovely skeins. We currently have colors ranging from fawn (medium brown), black, white, oatmeal and gray. Due to our yarns selling quickly, color availability will vary. If you are interested in any of the colors we've mentioned, we will gladly e-mail you pics of our current yarn supply upon request.
